Ok, so you may be wondering…what exactly is a Business Fingerprint, and more importantly, how does it apply to a company – your company, perhaps.
A Business Fingerprint is a creative figurative term, created by IDS, used to describe the individualization of a business. Like human beings, no two companies are 100% alike. In fact, IDS believes each time a new business or organization is formed it also develops a unique fingerprint – a Business Fingerprint – that makes it distinct from any other business.
As a business owner (start-up or existing), you should know that items such as your business card, logo, and website, are all essential components of your business fingerprint. Together, these items (as well as many others) help form your company’s unique identity and could make the difference between persuading, or dissuading, potential customers.
There’s no mystery in the fact that consumers are drawn to various products and services based on their perception of quality, trust, and reliability.
In fact, consumers base many of their purchasing decisions off “perception” everyday as they view numerous websites and other forms of advertisement.
Don’t let your Business Fingerprint reveal something contrary to your company’s true image, purpose, and/or goals. Instead, let IDS help you plan, develop and maintain your company’s entire brand to ensure it sends the correct message - simply, cleanly, and professionally.
